Education:

B Soc Sci, LLB, University of Kwazulu-Natal (Pietermaritzburg)

Diploma in Competition Law, University of the Witwatersrand 

 

Nicci was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 2004 and practiced as a conveyancer in KwaZulu-Natal for next three years until she moved to Johannesburg joining the competition law department of one of South Africa's large law firms. Nicci joined Nortons in 2010.

Her principal area of practice is in South African competition law, in particular, merger control and notification, and advising on the notifiability of mergers in South Africa, as well as other sub-Saharan and African jurisdictions (including COMESA, Botswana, eSwatini, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe).
